中国日报网站消息：韩国统一部官员3月18日宣布，韩国今年将通过联合国向朝鲜提供1920万美元的援助，其 中包括10万吨谷物，以及帮助朝鲜控制疟疾、发展儿童项目的资金。

　　韩国统一部在18日发表的一份声明中指出，考虑到朝鲜长期以来的食品问题和联合国秘书长安南的要求，韩国政府 决定像去年一样，通过联合国向朝鲜提供援助。援助包括

10万吨谷物以及用于控制疟疾、发展儿童项目的资金。

　　同一天，英国广播公司报道说，由欧盟提供的1000万美元援助已经抵朝，将由世界粮食计划署分发给朝鲜民众。

　　去年年底，联合国相关机构发出呼吁，要求国际社会对朝鲜提供更多人道主义支援。(婧远)
